Description
Students need to be able to visually scan and identify a target, before they’re able to scribble or color pictures. They need to be able to jump, aim, and land on a stationary visual target (a picture) before they’re able to coordinate lines to draw and write letters within a given space on paper.
These FOUR WEEKS of dot marker worksheets will help them do just that!!!
Dot marker worksheets are also beneficial for students who are nonverbal and unable to write. It gives them a way to communicate! Once they become accurate in dotting on the given the images, they can use dot markers to choose an answer from given multiple choice options or to indicate their preferences.
Use these worksheets to work on accurately jumping and aiming to each of the winter-themed objects with dot markers! Four winter objects are used, so that you can rotate through each object with each week of the month:
- Week 1: Snowflakes
- Week 2: Mittens
- Week 3: Snow bears
- Week 4: Warm hats
There are nine pages for each of the winter-themed images, creating a total of 36 worksheets of dot marker fun!
Don’t have dot markers? These worksheets can also be used with stickers to develop students’ pincer grasps! They are also helpful for learning to count up to five.
In summary, use these worksheets to target:
- visual motor skills
- visual scanning
- pincer grasp
- counting
Have fun!
