Description
This Writing With Dice resource supports students’ ability to compose sentences and involves many visual and fine motor skills, including those involved with the tasks of rolling dice, counting dots, coloring, cutting, and glueing.
To play, roll a pair of dice—or roll one die, two times: the first die indicates what they’ll be writing about (based on the given pictures on the page); the second die indicates an additional word to include in the sentence.
The corresponding pictures can be colored, cut, and glued to their writing piece!
Those who are working on typing can use this same resource, but type their sentences instead! Once the student is done typing, simply print the document and glue the colored picture to the page.
BONUS: I’ve included TWO extra pictures for your students to see if they can compose sentences about them, all on their own!
